Okay, I didn't update for two days, and I'm sorry. Friday I did a big pile of absolutely nothing, and on Saturday I went to Manhattan with [profile] yohtan and [profile] spiralsea. Lulz were had after I became slightly loopy thanks to taking pain killers and we decided to wander around as usual. There were books. Lots of books. I think I have a problem. Also, I was haunted by Janet Evanovich, and I think I need to blame [personal profile] artimusdin for this somehow.

I've spent a lot of time away from fandom in general and FF7 in particular, and I am fucking lost, everyone. It's not like I really ever left the fandom as it is that I don't really interact with it anymore. Anyone who reads this, whose writing in FF7 should I give two shits (or two fucks, interchangably) about? I want to focus on more recent writers, since I was around for most of the pre-Advent Children shenanigans.

Okay, so this was kind of inspired by this rant post and I was clicking around and it's a Rip Van Winkle moment.

Speaking of Final Fantasy VII, I think I need to get back into it. Maybe do another play-through. (Probably a speed run, since I already did a "Get everyone to Level 99, Master All Materia, Beat the Weapons, No Items, Fox Only, Final Destination" run before... er... Crisis Core came out.)

I realize that I should really write more, too, but... I don't know. My motivation's kind of crap, and I know there's a queue. I'm expecting the drabble post to get me out of this funk, and I will do something. Baby steps, everyone.
