Well, I'm something of a fan of the The Alkazar. I rather like the subset of the Alkazar where the actor plays up some sort of characteristic of his or her character in real life, probably just to pander to the fans or a specific subset of fans. Examples include Ruben Langdon acting like a total dork., Steve Burton acting unsure but determined, and Gideon Emery admitting to developing a small crush on Fran.

So, in the mornings I listen to the Z100 Morning Zoo (Guys, you've seen my deriviative, unoriginal fic; my derivative, unoriginal icons; my derivative, unoriginal layouts; and my overall devivative, unoriginal thoughts. Is it that much of a surprise that I don't listen to more enlightened stations?), and this morning they interviewed Jesse McCartney. So, along with the creepy Shota Cat-like perving from the hosts and from callers, Jesse also mentioned that he's more attracted to the lower half of the body. Alas, he didn't mention whether he preferred blondes, bruinettes, or red heads.

Yes, I realize that I am, indeed, going to hell.

This year, my towel is a shrunken beach towel of a sunset and dolphins. The colors are dark, appropriate for mourning, and you can't forget the dolphins. I think I'll go through Hitchhiker's again today, even if it's out of my queue's order.

No one'd happen to have an mp3 of "So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish," would they? You know your Google-fu is weak when the mp3's you've found are poorer in sound quality than the opening found on You Tube.

Now, for the other end of my subject line.

Today's also the thirtieth anniversary of the release of Star Wars, so I thought I'd do a few things to commemorate. So, links and icons. First, a set of links, mainly Episode One trailer parodies because it was like everyone was going batshit for the movie. Then the new trilogy came out and, well... yeah. And someone needs to rework Crisis Core footage to it. Come on, damn it, you know you want to.

It's really annoying realizing that the only thing that got me the first two times I attempted Omega was the queue set-up. Reverse, then Lure. Damn it. Oh, well, Omega's done. The only thing left to off is Yiazmat. Though, I could take a break in the name of leveling up and get the rest of the rare monsters and Ultimate Weapons...

A&E was showing "Star Wars: Empire of Dreams" again, so I was inspired to get through the FFXII end-game.

More FFXII icons. All done today, with my trusty Photoshop. The Party tends to veer towards some RPG stereotypes, so I had to do something. That, and I want some of my personal running gags to become memes. Because really, Princess Powergamer > Princess Hoochie Skirt, right?

Firstly: Got into Grad School! I'll have a life and goals and shit come September! Career! Total props go to Roden-sensei and Mrs. Ninehan.

Secondly: Basch/Zodiac Spear OTP. OMG their love is so "I'll rape your children before they're born".

I'll miss Basch continuously blocking, then going in for a combo, but at least those hits in the combo don't have the chance of being single digits. (I had him on axe and shield. Don't know what about him says "geomancer", though...)

So, FFXII made my favorite controller die. (Before anyone asks, yes, I did realign the pads. It's the wiring itself that's shot.)

I'm horribly cheap but I need to find another one. I still have the default controller, but doing fireball motions on it isn't very reliable, so I got a newer one. I suppose that the default will be for RPG's and hack-and-slash now, and the one I'll eventually buy for the fighting games. Sigh.

P.S.: I know this game was made by the same closet sadists team that made Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story. I've played both.
