Due to conversations with artimusdin and jukeboxhound (Why do all of my creative things seem to have this introduction?), apparently I resemble pre-Nibelheim!Sephiroth. Yeah, I don't know, either. Well, I wanted to get my Potterdammerung icons up today, but I'm beat after swimming. So, here're two Crisis Core ones. Credit if taken, etc., etc.:

     

So, I managed to clear out a good forty percent of my hard drive space by migrating my anime/cartoons over to DVD RW's. I am sure this new space will be filled with mp3's and my Photoshop putterings.

Did some cleaning out and reorganizing of my room over the weekend. Damn, there was a hella lot of paper that I needed to dump. Though amusingly, I've found Ancient Relics: from yohtan, there's her Christmas card from 1998 and this fanart of Sephiroth and Zack she did for me during high school, some of my school pictures from fourth grade, and a page I printed out from my Mary Sue. I also found a box of notes and letters from another high school friend, whom I've parted with as part of the fallout that was The Unpleasantness.

Yeah. Anyway...

I'm browsing around coms and noticed someone using one of my icons without crediting me. I'm kind of jazzed; usually it's their use by artimusdin or someone snagging them from Fandom Wank that gets them spread about. Though, damn it, I really need to remake the one they're using... at least make it look clearer or something. Damn, I hate being a perfectionist...

That's the only reason why they do this to me.

I like Cloud's face. It's pretty, but it's not frail-uke-princess-hold-me levels of pretty. He's a blond in his early twenties, and in personal experience blond males tend to stay baby-faced a bit longer. The same goes for his lean frame. It fits. I'm sure this is all to give a bit better credence to the Wall Market event in my mind.

I also like that the Buster Sword looks like it's gone through hell, because it has. I could get wanky over the fact that it's the original design and not the one shown in Advent Children/Crisis Core, but this is also OGC!design Cloud (see belt and Soldier insignia).

Also, he's got a pretty nice ass.

This year, my towel is a shrunken beach towel of a sunset and dolphins. The colors are dark, appropriate for mourning, and you can't forget the dolphins. I think I'll go through Hitchhiker's again today, even if it's out of my queue's order.

No one'd happen to have an mp3 of "So Long, and Thanks for all the Fish," would they? You know your Google-fu is weak when the mp3's you've found are poorer in sound quality than the opening found on You Tube.

Now, for the other end of my subject line.

Today's also the thirtieth anniversary of the release of Star Wars, so I thought I'd do a few things to commemorate. So, links and icons. First, a set of links, mainly Episode One trailer parodies because it was like everyone was going batshit for the movie. Then the new trilogy came out and, well... yeah. And someone needs to rework Crisis Core footage to it. Come on, damn it, you know you want to.
