Now, while tempting in that it's a week in Tokyo for under three grand, I'm kind of leery of people's respect for my fandom when they can't bother to spell it properly or use it in the correct part of speech. Really, what the hell is a "yaoi smile"? A smile with no peak, no plot, no meaning?

I also love how they're treating the mangaka as some sort of side show attraction. "Step right up folks, step right up and see a collection of the most bizarre, the most amazing! Only on the inside! See for the first time in captivity the elusive yaoi mangaka! See as they produce the most lurid, the most romantic, the most expressive! Only ten cents will get you on the inside!"

...I'm being a cultural wanker. And an elitist. And an entitlement whore. I really should just tell myself that they're a business capitalizing on a niche culture. It's all about making a buck.
