Was made to clean out part of the basement by the partental units. Why, hello there notebook from senior year of high school! I haven't seen you in so long!

I found some ancient drafts from the 'verse That Must Not Be Named; looks like something I'd write now, but rougher. There's improvement, but not the amount that you'd think that five years should make. Well, there are reasons for that, of course. Some characters get better written than others, of course. Sigh.

There was also a sketch book from my freshman year of college. Ugh. And again, ugh. Whenever I start whining about how much I suck, I should look at those things. (No, not scanning. It's icky, believe me.) That one figure drawing class really helped. Now, if I could actually grow a pair and submit to critque, then maybe I'd be able to improve to the point where I can show people things.

By the way, no, I haven't forgotten about the request meme. Again, it's all about growing a pair.
