Firstly, fuck yeah my passport photo came in. The photographer was trying to make me laugh, so while the photo I got when I was 15 was all SRS BSNS, this is has me smiling much, much wider than I do under circumstances that do not involve someone tickling me.

Secondly, I think that the school thinks I'm some sort of Twi-hard. I was asked by one of the other teachers if I thought he resembled RPatz, and one of my students invited me to see Breaking Dawn with her. So... fangirl reader automatically means Twi-hard? Meh, whatever.

I'm reading The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms again in preparation for reading The Kingdom of the Gods, and the fact that the setting is high fantasy and yet has indoor toilets still kind of floors me. (Yeah, I know that indoor toilets were a feature of places before running water, but still, things like conversations happening in the ladies' room and mundane utility for charms to warm the toilet seats is amazing to me.)

I've been looking through Perfect Bucket List, and I'm amazed at some of the stuff that I can check off of this list. I've been hella lucky.
