So, one of the co-creators of D&D has passed away, and reading all the commentary, I'm kind of upset that I never managed getting into it. I mean, it's like a nerd rite of passage. Sort of how anime fans of my age were required to see Akira. (Never did. Heh, probably won't see the new DiCaprio version, either.)

So... any suggestions on how I can get a n00b campaign started? Suggestions on any other Pen and Paper games I should look into? Any locals on the FList feel like diving in? (Yohtan, Kuma, Penchy; I'm looking at you...)
