Long time no write. Every time I want to make a post about something, I brush it off and then it's not very relevant. Whatever.

Okay, so to the title. My mother is trying to improve her English and to do that, she's trying to read more. My sister has some YA stuff and I have things that are all over the place, genre-wise, but there might be an issue with the difficulty of the language. So, dear readers, this is where I involve you: do you have any suggestions on easy to read, engaging books? Length isn't an issue, just language use. Any input is appreciated.
